Quad Group Class is four individuals or acquaintances that get together for a fun small group exercise session! The group is limited to 4 so that the trainer's attention remains strong to overlook the group. This is unlikely with large classes when instructors have a difficult time guiding multiple people.

Our studies have shown that you can burn MEGA calories in this workout! Get the benefits of strength resistance training utilizing all the major muscle groups of your body. This small group class is filled with moderate and high intensity exercises using Dumbells, cables, balls, steps and body weight. Full body workouts hitting all the major muscle groups in multiple planes of motion. Bring a friend or two we'll make it interactive so you can have a whole log of fun.

Fit Kick Class

Kick-It is a fun way to get in shape. The class is intense cardio kickboxing combined with true martial arts techniques. You'll make contact to bags and pads which engages the core while developing ulimate power and strength. The small group setting allows clients to achieve appropriate attention. You'll move and groove to a variety of upbeat music. Moves include: front punch, side punch, hook, uppercut, body blow, front kick, side kick, outside crescent, inside crescent, back kick, knee raise, elbow thrust

KICKBOXING DEFINITIONS

Move - one movement that is either a punch, kick, knee, elbow, squat or lunge.

Exercise it can be one move, two moves or even a series of moves.

Count one single count is similar to one measure or two beats in music In the beginner’s level one move usually will equal two counts, therefore if the instructor says “16 counts” you will repeat the move 8 times. If you are doing a two-move exercise: “16 counts’ would mean you would repeat the exercise only 4 times. Most counts will be 16 to 32 before you make the transition to the next exercise.

Sequence a group of two or more exercise performed consecutively (circuit)

Round a round is the completion of a sequence

Double time twice the speed, usually to the tempo of the beats per minute.
